However, with every order there will be variance, depending on your location, what’s in stock, and the current temperature.

Typically, orders placed Monday through Wednesday will ship within 1-2 business days via UPS 2-day for east/midwest states, and UPS 3-day for mountain & west coast states.

Due to the delicate nature of some of our products, we do not ship on Thursdays or Fridays. Orders placed Thursday through Sunday will be shipped the following week.

Due to these unpredictable factors, we cannot guarantee a specific delivery time. If you are in need of receiving your order within an express expedited time frame, please email us before placing your order so that we can assist you and determine if we can accommodate the request.

During the summer, when temps are above 80 degrees, please expect your order to take longer, as we carefully watch the weather in both shipping and receiving cities. We will not ship certain products like deodorant cream & refills, as well as moisturizers, when the temperature is 85 degrees or above.

HANDS products are all anhydrous, meaning they are made without water. This allows me to create formulations without preservatives, emulsifiers, or thickeners, resulting in the cleanest possible formulas for your skin. Anhydrous products may have a thicker consistency than you're used to, but this also means the active botanicals are more readily available to nourish and protect your skin.

My definition of "natural" goes beyond the typical. I carefully consider the health, ethical, and environmental impact of each ingredient. You won't find any harsh chemicals, potentially irritating substances, or unsustainable elements in our products.

Our “Best By” dates are set at one year from the date of production. This timeline is intentionally conservative. Most of our anhydrous ingredients have shelf lives of up to - and often over - two years. Because our products are almost entirely water-free and free of high-PUFA seed oils, they’re naturally more shelf-stable and less prone to microbial growth or rancidity.

The “Best By” date is really about potency, not safety. Over time, botanical infusions and essential oils may lose some of their strength. Think of it more like a freshness window: using your product within that time ensures you’re experiencing the full vibrancy and benefits of the ingredients.

That said, if you're following our care recommendations - keeping products out of heat and direct sunlight, and never introducing water - your product may last well beyond its “Best By” date.

We encourage you to trust your senses: if something ever looks or smells off, it’s okay to let it go. But in general, natural products age gently, and the best way to enjoy them is while they’re fresh.

All HANDS products are 100% cruelty-free. Most of our products are also vegan, but some do contain beeswax. Each product description clearly lists the ingredients, so you can easily identify which ones are vegan.
